I was born on April 22, 1963, and grew up in the town of Toms River, NJ (on the Jersey shore, about 45 minutes north of Atlantic City).
After finishing high school, I had no intention of continuing my education....I had my sights set on Hollywood. But before I left New Jersey, I did receive my Associates Degree in Speech/Theater from Ocean County Community College. I felt I was now ready for the world, and was destined to be a star. I moved to California in 1983, and began my theatrical "career", such as it was. But by the time I turned 30, and realized I was getting more calls from my credit card companies than my agent, I decided to go back to school and finish my education.
I enrolled at California State University, Northridge, as a Psychology major. I had always found the subject very interesting, and thought I would enjoy teaching it at the college level. I follow a Cognitive-Behavioral theory of psychology, and as far as Freud is concerned.....well.....sometimes a banana is just a banana. After 4 1/2 years, I received my Bachelor's Degree. I continued on at Cal State, and was accepted into the Teacher Internship Program at the university, teaching Introductory Psychology to the incoming freshmen. I graduated in June of 2001 with my Master's Degree in Clinical / Health Psychology.
I am currently teaching part time at Moorpark Community College, and taught a semester at College of the Canyons. I hope one day, to move into a full time teaching position.

Everything you ever wanted to know....
I currently live in Santa Clarita, just about a half hour north of the San Fernando Valley. My parents are retired and living in Toms River. My younger brother Vinnie lives in Florida, along with my older sister Michele, her husband Tony and their 2 children, my nephew Marc, and my niece Jillian. I try to make a trip back east every couple of years to visit. My nephew Marc plays soccer, and Jillie likes to dance. Take a look in my "photo page" to see pictures of them and the rest of my family. I also have been blessed with some really great friends on both coasts. You can see where they all live by going to my "U.S. Connections" page. I keep in touch with many of them through the internet.....God bless Buddy-Chat and email! And for those that I can't chat with via the web, or email, I try to visit each time I'm back on the east coast. It's great, because even though we only get together every couple years or so, we seem to pick up right where we left off!
Most importantly, on November 3, 2001, I married an incredible woman. Her name is Joleen, and we were married here in California. Check out the "Love Story" link for pictures, and the whole story of how we got together......
Some of my interests include: theater, movies, acting, racquetball, and television. I also like to listen to music. I guess I would say that I'm very eclectic in my taste. I like everything from Medieval Chorales to Motown!
As I mentioned before, acting was my dream for a very long time. It was my main reason for moving to California. Unfortunately my successes were very few and far between.....but I have remained close to the theater and cinema. Check out the link on my home page to get a few more details about my "acting career".
Needless to say, I've held quite a few jobs during my "struggling actor" years:
The final entry on the list is where I am still
employed. I started there in 1991, and believe me, I never thought I'd be in any one job
for over 10 years! But even though it's not a Hollywood soundstage, it's a place
where I really enjoy working.
I've actually worn many hats
there over the years, and currently I am now in an administrative department of the bank,
handling staffing issues. My co-workers and managers are really great.....it's not
everyone who can say they look forward to going to the office!

On the athletic side, racquetball is one of my favorite hobbies. I don't get to play nearly as often as I'd like, but whenever I can, I try to work in a game or two. When I actually do get some time to relax, I like to watch some of my favorite TV shows:
|
Friends |
| Will & Grace |
| Whose Line is it Anyway? |
| Scrubs |
| Southpark |
South Park is one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long time. I know a few people who would disagree.....it's really irreverent, but it's the fact that it's so "un-PC" that keeps me watching......here's a sample of what you'll find if you tune in:
Not for those easily offended......
I guess after that, I should be heading off to confession, so I'll close this page......and speaking of confession, you can find a link on my home page for "God Talk"......check it out!
